We Read for 2002 (Seconds!) |

| As part of Scholastic's program, on December 14th, we read for 2002 seconds, which is about 33 1/2 minutes. Everyone loved spending time getting into a good book, even Mrs. Renz. Read what our students had to say about the event. | ||

We read for 2002 seconds.
I read a book called In the Land of the Big Red Apple.
I am glad to be one of the students to read for 2002 seconds.
When we stopped I really didn’t want to stop.
I really imagined what the people looked like and what the
setting was like. I wish we could read again for 2002 seconds.
I thought it was fun and great.

Today we read for 2002 seconds which is 33 and a half
minutes! I read Harry
Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling.
So far my book is good. Reading
for 2002 seconds was fun. Once

I read Little House on the Prairie.
It was a really good book. We
read from 12:25 – 12:58½ p.m. It
was 33 minutes but it was 2002 seconds.
I really like reading a long time because you can really get into
your book that you are reading. It
was really fun doing this. I
can’t believe that we are reading with a bunch of other kids for 2002
seconds. I want to do this
next year when I am in 5th grade.
I am so glad we did this.

did not feel like a long time. I

33½ minutes. I read a book
called Harry Potter. It
was really fun. People all
around the world are doing the same thing that we just did.
We read for 2002 seconds to welcome the year 2002.
It was also for Scholastic News.

It was so much fun because it was quiet and peaceful.

Today we read for 2002 seconds. I read two chapter and four pages. I was reading the first book of The Series of Unfortunate
Events by Lemony Snicket.
