Mrs. Renz's 4th Grade Class Redmond, Oregon

April, 2003

For Earth Day, we had a guest teacher, Mrs. Payne teach us how to make recycled paper.  It was easy!  We took 20 sheets of toilet paper and put it into a plastic bottle filled 2/3 of the way with water and a little glitter for sparkle effect.  We shook it for two minutes to break up the fibers.  After that, we poured it into a plastic frame and squeezed the water out of it and let it dry for a day.  We are going to make these into Mother's Day cards.
