This was an extra credit extension assignment from our place value studies.

Note:  When you see a number word, type it into your calculator and turn the calculator upside-down to get the word.

There once was a 663 and a 339.  One day while they were playing, a girl came along.  345 was very hungry.  345 picked up the 663 and took it with her.  The 339 was very angry.  34 followed her.  When 345 got home, 339 was at the door.  All 345 said was, “01134 Mr. 339.”  Now 34 was very angry.  34 flew in and stung her.  345 put the 663 down and screamed.  The 633 ran out the door.  Both 663 and 339 were happy.
