Our class was fortunate to have local Bend, Oregon author, Judy Shasek, visit our class.  Judy Shasek read part of her first book, E-Wally and the Quest, and then she had the students draw one of Olla Brac's bugs.  Students were given five sentences to describe one of the bugs a student drew (Judy couldn't see it).  Afterwards, Judy tried to draw the bug students had described based on their sentences.  Students realized their sentences could've been much more descriptive.  It was a great lesson!
