Fish Release Field Trip

Our class raised 200 rainbow trout eggs in cooperation with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife.  We received them when they were in the green egg stage.  When we released them eight weeks later, all of our fish were in the alevin stage.  Our permit from Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife told us to release them into Fireman's Pond, so we did and our Central Oregon skies snowed on us as we did!
