| Mr. Reekie (Mrs. Renz's dad) visited our class. He talked to the students about being inquirers and thinking about how a common object could be used for another purpose. He told of the birthday gift he gave Mrs. Renz one year. He asked students to think about what it was. It was a long shoe horn so you don't have to stoop down to put a tight shoe on. Mr. Reekie wrote memories of growing up in Scotland. You can see his Scottish Heritage website here. |
