Following the Iditarod Trail 2010 |

Students drew the name of an Iditarod musher and followed the progress each day, checking on the website each morning and moving the place markers around. Students also did Self Start "Iditarod Math" each day of the race. At the end of the race, students 1-30 shared the Iditarod purse, paid in our classroom dollars called "Collegiate Cash. (we divided the real amount by 100). Several disappointed students whose musher had to scratch, felt badly, just as their musher surely did. It was a great adventure, one which won't be forgotten soon. |
