Read Students' Field Trip Reflections

   

The drive over the Pass was slow going. It took us 3 hours and 15 minutes to get to OSU. 

 

But on the other side, the Willamette Valley was beautiful and full of fall colors.

In the classroom, our students were given a design challenge to design a tsunami evacuation shelter.  They drew sketches and wrote about their shelters.  At OSU we toured the

Hinsdale Wave Research Lab which is the premier facility in the world.

the Bookstore, Dixon Recreation Center, Goss Stadium (baseball),

Gill Coliseum, and Reser Stadium where the Beavers play football

The Valley Library contains 1,800,000 books

Our class played a game against the some of the women's team.  We lost so we had to do hound dog push ups!

We got to go on the field at Reser Stadium!  It was a great way to end an incredible field trip to college!
